Google在Google I/O 2018上为Google键盘推出了摩尔斯电码功能。

摩尔斯电码是一种用光或声音的长、短信号组合来表示字母的代码。Google 将这一功能引入 Gboard，旨在帮助残障人士进行沟通。塔妮娅·芬利森（Tania Finlayson）的故事便是其中一个例子。

当激活Google摩尔斯电码键盘时，它将用两个分别用于短信号和长信号的区域替代常规键盘。与常规键盘一样，单词建议和预测将显示在其上方。

Google摩尔斯电码键盘功能将于今日在Android设备上以测试版形式推出。
