@hm – none taken. the organizers voted for the top 5 posts they liked and I tallied the entries who got the most votes. it was more of a simple giveaway than an essay-writing contest.

really? these are your winners? what was your criteria? no offense but their entries kind of sucked. had i known it was possible to win with a lousy entry, i would’ve bothered writing one. :S
