Cisco sent us two of their high-end WiFi routers, the Linksys E4200, and says we can give away one to our readers. So here’s your chance to upgrade your home WiFi to speeds of up to 450Mbps.
The Linksys E4200 is one of many new WiFi routers that Cisco recently launched in the Philippines {see story here}.
This particular model is on the top of the heap, has dual-band WiFi-N frequency at 2.4GHz and 5GHz with 6 internal antennas. It has a USB port for external storage, multimedia streaming (UPnP AV media server) or as a print server.
Aside from the powerful WiFi, it’s got a 4-port Gigabit (that’s 1000Mbps) switch at the back for wired connections. Will test both units at home for the time-being and write a short review.
Suggested retail price is Php8,595.

Hope I’ll win this contest, since my sister and I only use Virtual Router downloaded from the internet as well as the ad-hoc features of a laptop. However, we keep the laptop open so that there’ll be a WiFi connection.
