BPI introduces Quick Portfolio feature on mobile app

Good news for BPI account holders and mobile banking users, the Philippines’ oldest bank has a new way of accessing your account balance without the hassle of logging in through your password.

With the new update of the BPI Mobile App, the bank has introduced ‘Quick Portfolio’ feature that lets you instantly check your balance with the use of either PIN, Pattern, or Touch ID.

To access your Quick Portfolio, you must first activate it through the app’s ‘More’ tab and input all needed information. From the home screen, simply swipe to left and unlock the portfolio with either of your chosen security option. Here’s a quick video tutorial to help you:

Simply update the app if you have it already installed or if not yet, be sure to check it out on the App Store for iOS or Play Store for Android. The app also available in the Microsoft Store for Windows Phone and the BlackBerry World for BB10 devices.

    This is good news. A few years ago when touchID was introduced by Apple, I personally emailed BPI app CS and told them that maybe if they can just introduce fingerprint access to the app it would be a good idea. I received an auto-respond email from them saying I need to provide more details on my query. Maybe they listened, maybe it’s just about time. I don’t take credit from it though :)
