SmartBro’s WiFly Promo with Airborne Access

My friend just handed out this pamphlet from Smart Bro announcing a new promo called WiFly. Basically, this is an add-on service to existing SmartBro (formerly Smart Wifi) customers to avail of unlimited AiborneAccess account for an additional Php99 a month.

Here are some details of the WiFly Promo:

  • The WiFly Promo will un from October 16, 2006 to January 15, 2007 with a 6-month coverage at an additional fee of Php99/month (VAT-inclusive) on top of their SmartBro subscription fee.
  • Only active SmartBro 999 subscribers can automatically apply for the promo. Existing Smart Wifi 988 and Smart Bro 788 can upgrade to Smart Bro Plan 999 to be eligible for the WiFly Promo.
  • Upgrades to Smart Bro Plan 999 will get a free one month WiFly to be effected on 6th month.
  • Lock-in period for the WiFly subscription is 6 months. You will still be billed if you pre-teminate. You also need to inform Smart Broadband Inc., if you want to terminate after the 6-month lock-in period.
  • Only one Smart Bro subscription per one WiFly account. No multiple logins will be allowed for the Airborne Access account.

Now, that’s a really cool deal there. For just Php99, you also get an unlimited Airborne Access account. Cool huh? At least if your Smart Bro account doesn’t wok, you could go out and hook up with one of them AA hotspots. *hehehe*

With so many Smart Wifi/Bro plans, I think this promo was done partly to standardize the subscription plans to Php999 and earn a few more bucks off of the subscribers.

Still, IMHO, the promo alone is a great deal (IF you have a laptop). How about Smart Bro subscribers sell these promo account to friends and colleagues for say Php1,000 for 6 months? Good deal and the customer also profits Php406 from it. *hehe*

    I assure you , don’t even !!
    I moved here a year ago , got Smartbro, about 383 speed on MacTan Island,Cebu.
    I moved to South Cebu Island where there was no Service . I called and told them that I needed to TEMPORARILY DC BECAUSE OF NO SERVICE p300,which was in their contract. Then came the Threats from their Legal department(idiot named Ty),but there was the nice Ghen . I went to SM 7 times . It was suppossed to cost me p300 to temp.DC,it was still p999 per inactive months. I moved back and had to pay total amount!! NOW “120″ This company recks of garbage . There are only two people I would talk to in the future at SM’s Smartbro ,they are Paul and Gibeth . these two will work with you ,thank you ,a “10″ to you both . Charles Pearce

    lumalake naman ulo nyo dahil madame nagcoconnect sa inyo..ayusin nyo dapat mga service na binabayaran ng tao..mga leche..

    Hello smartbro, this is the nth time I would raise this issue.
    You are blocking 95 % of the websites!! We can not effectively use your service.

    Please give us credit. You can’t just take money off people and provide lousy service. That is not good business practice.

    I have emailed you August 13, text Smart Support many times too at # 0918 500 3000.
    I have also visited your office in Robinsons Galleria last week but the your service worsened and nobody bother to call us to tell us how to fix it.

    What’s going on? If you can not provide service then stop advertising it. You are cheating the people.

    Smart Bro,
    Bumili me last aug. 14, 2008 after 2 weeks sira na ang smartbro namin. No quality dhl no connection at walang signal. Ilan beses na km bumalik sa SM BACOOR but no CAPA/ COORECTIVE ACTION / PREVENTIVE ACTION regarding Quality Issue sa SMART WIRELESS in 3rd Floor. No Action. We need Replacement. I want 100% QUALITY not QUANTITY.

    the 1st few months the speed was 100.0 mbps now its only 10.0 mbps i reported it, they said its ok. we’ll im not good with speed of internet but i think my prob. and also when i tried using their quickfix 2.0 and diagnosed the connection it says somethings wrong with the antenna, reported it and and nobody came to check!!! i hope you guys do something.. your billing too is delayed….

    alam nyo? ang laki na ng nagagastos ko sa pesteng smartbro prepaid na yan… ang bagal sobraaaaa….
    baka pede paki ayos naman service nyo, kahit sana prepaid ang line ko bigyan nyo naman ng pansin…. sa hirap ng buhay wag naman sanang bale walain kaming mga prepaid user … di ka man lang maka eccess sa YM voice… pati webcam laging unable to access anu ba yan?!!! lokohan? di biro ang 2,500 na pinambili ko ng kit… tapos yung 30 pesos na load minsan dahil sa bagal naubus na bago pa me makapag chat… maawa naman kayo… dito lang me sa marilao…

    I don’t have problems with my smart bro connections. There was a time when i got text msgs that the server in my area was down due to some improvements and i was billed i think just half of 999.00. I never got my bills anymore i got it only once but i go to the mall to pay because i know when is my due date. I would love to get my bill though because i want to file it. I think when our computer has lots of cookies, cache and temporary internet files it slows it down . I only keep for 2 days history of web browsing only. Malapit lang kami sa cell site. God bless everyone

    We would like to confirm that the Smart Bro Printastic Promo is currently being offered to new subscribers only. On the other hand, our Retention offers for those who have already finished their contract are as follows:

    1. An instant gratification item (1 only)

    a. A4Tech Wireless Mouse
    b. 1 Free MSF (Monthly Service Fee) on the next bill

    2. An option to purchase a 4GB thumb drive for P650 only

    The said offer may be availed by visiting any Smart Wireless Center and signing up for a new 12-month contract.

    It would be effective for smart to keep their customers from switching to the competitors if they retention packages are more enticing.

    > Smart will only process rebates if there is a technical report at their end to match your complaint.
    >I havent received my bill for March 2009 and its already April.
