Nokia Lumia 920 becomes official!

Nokia has finally unveiled its new Windows Phone 8 flagship phone — the Lumia 920 which comes with an 8-megapixel PureView camera.

While the 8MP PureView camera might seem to be a toned-down version of the 808 PureView, Nokia promises it will be as good and even better that most smartphones.

  agree..d ko lang maintindihan kung bakit yung mga ios/android users are affected kapag may mga bagong features ang ibang os.parang hindi nila matanggap na ang daming kulang sa current os na gamit nila. kung ganyan e bakit hindi ka lumipat d ba.or have both devices kung kaya ng bulsa mo.to have the best of both worlds.

PureView tech with OIS and floating lens. Makes blur-free stills and vids.

PureMotion HD+ with pixels that move more than twice as fast making blur-free 4.5-inch screen.

Synaptics tech that makes a supersensitive capacitive screen that works with just about anything that touches it (not that we wear mittens in sunny Manila).

Ceramic buttons and camera house. Sabi nila: nearly impossible to scratch.

Wireless: charging; docking (a variation of the pod you’d have to check nokia’s youtube page to see a phone holder that charges just by resting it against the inclined holder); headphones with monster; jbl portable speakers via nfc and; jbl speakers with nfc AND simultaneous charging (still wireless).

Lenses for: cinemagraphs and smartshoot.

Cinemagraphs make GIFs–moving and breathing images.

Smartshoot enables you to crop out any undesirable element in an image (say Steve Ballmer passing by as you take your pic).

City lens: an augmented reality mapping solution that names or point you to a place as you point your camera to a location. You’d have to see videos to appreciate this.

Yan muna. I think iSheeps and fandroids are kinda overwhelmed na.

  There are Motorola stores and stalls in the metro. I’ve seen two. One in Megamall, and another one in SM Fairview. Cyberzone, Greenhills, etc. will surely have it before Christmas :)

Madami talaga nagnaniniwala dito na Android makakasave ng Nokia. Look at Sony, they have the best hardware for Android, pero bagsak pa din sila. Pabagsak din HTC with their Android phones. Maganda na sa Lumia ng Nokia, pero ayoko ng cp na di natatanggal ang baterya.

Kung mura lang ang iPhone, iPhone na ako. eh anjan naman Windows Phone swabe at swak na swak gamitin. sarap panoorin ng transition at kahit mali pindot mo sa keyboard ang lufet ng auto-correct.
