Nokia has finally unveiled its new Windows Phone 8 flagship phone — the Lumia 920 which comes with an 8-megapixel PureView camera.
While the 8MP PureView camera might seem to be a toned-down version of the 808 PureView, Nokia promises it will be as good and even better that most smartphones.
Nokia Lumia 920 Pureview specs:
4.5-inch 720p display PureMotionHD+ @ 1280×768 pixels
Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual-core, Krait processor
Adreno 225 GPU
1GB RAM
32GB internal storage
LTE
NFC
8MP rear camera, LED flash
1080p video recording
2,000mAh Li-Ion battery
Windows Phone 8
The Lumia 920 also support wireless charging that follows the Qi standard (accessories to follow). The Lumia 920 will be available in white, black, grey, red and a bold yellow color.
eto ang bukang-bibig ngayon sa phone wars…
‘nokia connecting liars’
sorry nokia fans (i was one 2 years ago)but the fiasco that nokia is in right now is just remarkable. how stupid can nokia be with the van and the professional cam in the n920 commercial.fail.
simply gorgeous – it’s the most innovative smartphone ever!
…Hahahahhahhaaaaa…..in your dreams..
Wow…ang galing….un palang promotional video nglUMIA 920 ay kuha ng professional camera hinde yang Lumia 920 ang ginamit……FAIL….Nokia (Fail 1) + Microsoft (Fail 2) = Double Fail x Video Fail = Death.

Busted!
Hindi naman. Just keeping everybody informed. I still have to see the iPhone 5. This one, though, is looking very very good.
@pinoys….free..good for you! mine was bought without any plan…s3 and my old and reliable note…but..it does imply that you are not familiar with your phone….can you write down those features that android lacks and nokia have…i might be able to answer some….or not?..im also not in the phl.
@lie and pinoy,: kayong dalawa, pag untugin ko kaya kayo,,,, wahahaha, nagpayabangan ba namn, try nyo mag meet, total parehas naman kayo wala sa pinas, wahahaha
PureView tech with OIS and floating lens. Makes blur-free stills and vids.
PureMotion HD+ with pixels that move more than twice as fast making blur-free 4.5-inch screen.
Synaptics tech that makes a supersensitive capacitive screen that works with just about anything that touches it (not that we wear mittens in sunny Manila).
Ceramic buttons and camera house. Sabi nila: nearly impossible to scratch.
Wireless: charging; docking (a variation of the pod you’d have to check nokia’s youtube page to see a phone holder that charges just by resting it against the inclined holder); headphones with monster; jbl portable speakers via nfc and; jbl speakers with nfc AND simultaneous charging (still wireless).
Lenses for: cinemagraphs and smartshoot.
Cinemagraphs make GIFs–moving and breathing images.
Smartshoot enables you to crop out any undesirable element in an image (say Steve Ballmer passing by as you take your pic).
City lens: an augmented reality mapping solution that names or point you to a place as you point your camera to a location. You’d have to see videos to appreciate this.
Yan muna. I think iSheeps and fandroids are kinda overwhelmed na.
haha they have to defend that they are number 1! why do they need to do that? we are the consumer here and we are the one spending our money! we are not paid by these companies to endorse their products.
Not for me, I like wallpapers on my phone. I am anticipating a Motorola RAZR Hd Maxx.. Hope someone’s going to sell before Christmas.
Same here!
There are Motorola stores and stalls in the metro. I’ve seen two. One in Megamall, and another one in SM Fairview. Cyberzone, Greenhills, etc. will surely have it before Christmas :)
I’m just hoping that the HD screen won’t disappoint. And of course, a timely Jelly Bean update :D
Meh.
Btw, check this out: http://gizmodo.com/5940784/nokia-faked-its-pureview-demo-and-then-claimed-they-never-said-it-was-real
just like shampoo commercials.use it and you’ll have a long shiny hair..parang na-rebond lng???haha
Look at Sony, they have the best hardware for Android, pero bagsak pa din sila. Pabagsak din HTC with their Android phones.
kailan kaya to? Next year?
Kinda wished that Nokia released that charging pad as some sort of an adjustable dock and not just a flattened pad.
kahit dual core at 1g ram pa yan .

According to GSMA.

Heavier than Nokia 808 PV.

No Nokia PureView Rich Recording.
No external card slot expansion (microSD)
No Xenon flash.
ND Filter is questionably absent.
No Adobe Flash / Flash Lite.
No FM radio.
No Radio Transmitter.
No Java support.
No high quality MEMS microphones.
No DivX/XviD out of the box support (questionably downloadable as app).
No MKV out of the box support (questionably downloadable as app).
The comparison list goes on and on and on…
BUT… now for the good news.
The Lumia 920 “PureView†will make the Nokia 808 PureView a household name. It will make the Nokia 808 PureView to be more sought after. The Lumia “PureView†will be sold in volume, so it is free advertising for the Nokia 808 PureView, considering 8.7MP vs. 41MP, people would rather buy the original true PureView Pro technology. Not to mention the draconian restrictions of Windows Phone 7.x/8.x.
“The ‘Oh sh!t we just released another product that won’t sell…’ look of Stephen Elopâ€
vs.
“The ‘Who’s your daddy now, Nokia?’ look of Steve Ballmerâ€
why? do you have a phone that can give you all the features listed above? I’ll buy from you if you have.
nokia already had the pureview technology. pero bkit kaya hindi nila nilagay lahat sa nokia n920 nila.. ang dami ng nasayang si nokia ever since ELOP became the CEO.. may nabasa ako sa google noon na si Elop daw eh dating empleyado ng microsoft? (pls confirm)..
