The Xperia Neo and the Xperia Pro are almost identical in specs, except for the latter’s sliding full qwerty keyboard. These handsets will complement the flagship Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc which was revealed earlier. No pricing information or release dates were revealed but I’m hoping SE’s local PR might give us some more details soon.

    If the concern is gaming, I rather wait for the so called “NGP” or PSP2 then get a galaxy s2 for a phone rather than get the SE xperia play, But if you want flexibility like gaming and phone in one pop this is the gadget for you

    No wonder they dont want to upgrade the X10 family to 2.2
    They are releasing new phones…oh for sure this phones will get stuck at a certain Android version because that is the trademark of SE.

    Keep a certain model stuck at a certain OS so that people will buy the newer models with newer OS

    Nice phones but i better look at the other brands who keep the customers really happy. Imagine SE saying that 2.1 is better than 2.2 LOL

    Xperia Play is awesome, but I will definitely not pay more than the price of a PSP GO (13k today) and a mid-high range phone (Let’s Say 20k). Thus, this should not be priced higher than 33k.

    @Jhay
    They’re currently well known for one more thing, and that’s NOT updating their Android line. Poor X10.

    Before anyone cuts in, yes a Froyo and Gingerbread rom is available but it’s still not a good sign for Sony to simply drop updates in their priority list.

    You got to hand it to SE. Stylish and feature-packed phones.

    Then again their handsets are known to burn a hole through one’s wallet. T_T
