Fastest and Strongest WiFi Routers in the Market

Having a stable and fast internet connection is essential in today’s digital world, especially since the pandemic started the work-from-home-setup movement. That’s why we’ve rounded up some of the fastest and strongest WiFi routers in the market today. This is to ensure that your router at home is powerful and strong enough to handle your internet connection without any issues.

Top 6 Fastest and Strongest WiFi Routers for Optimal Performance

We’ve made sure that each option in this list has the minimum features that we feel every router should have: WiFi 6 and above, dual-band support of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands or more, and a wide enough range to cover an entire household.

TP-Link Archer AX23

The TP-Link Archer AX23 is a great option for those who want to upgrade from their stock router to a more capable one.

While the AX23 isn’t going to blow your socks off, it offers the essentials in providing WiFi 6, 2-3 bedroom house coverage, and a respectable 1.8 Gbps WiFi connection. The best thing about the AX23, however, is its price. Usually sold at a retail price of Php 4,190, you can find them on sale for Php 2,590 on both Shopee and Lazada.

TP-LINK Archer AX55

Bumping up a bit in price is the TP-LINK Archer AX55. Providing all of the features of the AX23, the AX55 ups the ante by providing faster speeds at 2.4 GBps, wider coverage that accommodates up to 3 bedroom houses (from the AX23’s 2-3), and additional HomeShield Security features.

The AX55 also has high-power FEM, DFS, and USB 3.0 port, which the AX23 does not have.

It retails at Php 5,000 but can be found for Php 4,299 at online stores. If you have the extra budget to spare, we think spending more for the AX55 is the right move.

ASUS TUF Gaming AX5400

Getting into the gaming router territory, we recommend looking at the ASUS TUF Gaming AX5400. While it’s marketed towards gamers, the AX5400 is an excellent choice for those looking for a router that can provide great speeds and is able to cater to gaming if you eventually decide to do so.

The AX5400 supports Game Device Prioritizing, which means that any gaming system connected to the router will be prioritized when playing games. It also has a Mobile Game Mode via the ASUS Router App.

We took a hands-on look at the AX5400 back in November, which you can check out here. 18

The AX5400 retails at Php 9,695 but can be found online for Php 9,200.

TP-Link Deco X50

For people looking for an aesthetic-looking router, the TP-Link Deco X50 is the number one choice. Sporting an all-white body, the Deco X50 looks more like a decoration piece (hence the name) that you proudly display in your home rather than a boxy WiFi router.

The Deco X50 is WiFi 6-enabled, offers up to 3.0 Gbps in wireless speed, and has an AI-driven Mesh feature that learns what the most ideal setup is for your connection at home.

For the Deco X50, we recommend getting their 3-pack, which retails at Php 14,900 but can be found for around Php 11,880. The 3-pack allows you to set up multiple access points to make sure that there are no dead zones whatsoever in your home.

ASUS ZenWiFi Mini XD4

Routerx
For those who want a future-proof option for their WiFi solution, you can’t go wrong with the ASUS ZenWiFi AX Mini XD4. Offering one of the best mesh WiFi systems in the market today, the Mini XD4 provides up to 4,800 sq. ft. of coverage which can reach up to more than 5 rooms.

The XD4 provides wireless speeds of 1.8 Gbps and has the added bonus of being compatible with the ASUS Router App, ensuring an easy and hassle-free setup and management of your internet connection.

SRP of the Mini XD4 is Php 19,999 but you can find it online for around Php 16,729. While the XD4 comes with a heft price tag, the performance you get with its extremely wide coverage is well worth the money.

ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX6000

Router 5
Last but certainly not least, is ASUS’ ROG Rapture GT-AX6000. The Rapture is definitely a router with the gamer and enthusiast in mind. It’s one of the most feature-packed routers in the market today: expanded coverage through ASUS RangeBoost Plus, AiMesh technology, Dual 2.5 Ethernet ports, and many more.

The Rapture also includes ASUS routers’ gaming features: Game Device Prioritization, Gaming VPN, and Mobile Game Mode. For gamers who want the best of the best, the Rapture is it.

If you want to know more about the Rapture, you can visit our hands-on coverage of it here.

With all these goodies, the Rapture is priced accordingly at Php 22,550 but can be found online at Php 18,895.
