Google introduces a new feature to its great map app that allows users to directly book an Uber instantly, no need to switch apps.

Google Maps first integrated the ride-hailing apps last year but it only gives you estimates how much and how far a ride is plus you need to open a new app when booking. With the new update, when you open ride services tab in the options given, you’ll see a carousel of ride service providers in your area. From there, you’ll be able to book and see you ride coming to your location.

While in your ride, you can also check out more details provided by Maps about your destination. All of these without leaving a single app.
The update is coming to the Google Maps app for both Android and iOS leaving nobody behind. It’s a pretty impressive feat of Maps. We’ll see it for ourselves when the update reaches the Philippine shores.
