As of March 2025, the latest model is the MacBook Air with the Apple M4 chip. In the Philippines, the 13-inch model starts at ₱64,990 for the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration, while the 15-inch model starts at ₱79,990. This represents a price cut compared to the previous M3 model.

According to an analyst report from July 2025, Apple may be planning a cheaper MacBook model that could enter production in late 2025 or early 2026. It is rumored to use the A18 Pro chip (from the iPhone 16 Pro) instead of an M-series chip, potentially come in multiple colors, and retain a 13-inch display. Its appeal would depend on a significantly lower price point than the current MacBook Air.

Apple introduced a 15.3-inch MacBook Air model with the M3 chip in March 2024, marking the first time the Air lineup expanded to a larger screen size. Prior rumors in early 2023 had suggested a 15.5-inch model was in development. The 15-inch M3 model launched in the Philippines with a starting price of ₱82,990.
