We’ve got over a hundred submissions from our recent poll on mobile 3G services. The results are not that surprising but the breakdown of services is a bit interesting though. See figures and graphs after the jump.
This was just texted to me by a contact from Globe — that their Visibility plans are now available in prepaid — a move that directly competes with SmartBro Prepaid. This is on top of their postpaid GV 799 and GV 999 plans I reported earlier.
With so many plans and options to get mobile 3G, I wonder which one tops the list for most internet users. I’ve counted over half a dozen ways to hook up on mobile 3G — our next poll asks which one do you often use?
Right after the recent Globe Telecoms re-branding, they also quietly launched a similar mobile TV offering for their subscribers. During the Smart myTV announcement months ago, it was also rumored that Globe is in talks with another competing cable provider to offer mobile TV.
Looks like they’ve finally rolled out the service early last week and aptly named it Globe Mobile TV.
