In line with the revival of Nokia smartphones by HMD Global this year, their latest budget smartphone, the Nokia 2, will be receiving an Oreo update soon.
The Nokia 2 is HMD Global’s latest budget smartphone which was released a few months ago. As of the moment, it is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat but it was confirmed by Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, that it will receive the Android Oreo (Go edition) soon.
Android Go is a minimalistic version of Oreo designed for smartphones with entry-level specs, such as the Nokia 2.
