Nokia officially unveils LTE-enabled Lumia 625

Nokia has just announced the Lumia 625, an affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone with a 4.7-inch screen and LTE connectivity.

The Nokia Lumia 625 packs a 4.7-inch WVGA (480 x 800) 199ppi display with Sunlight Readability Enhancement, 5 megapixel AF camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing, and 8GB of internal storage with support for up to 64GB via microSD card.

In addition to the LTE connectivity, it is powered by a Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 2,000mAh battery, and Windows Phone 8 OS including the Nokia Lumia Amber update.

The Nokia Lumia 625 will be available in a range of colors including orange, yellow, bright green, white and black. It has an estimated retail price of 220 Euros or approximately Php13,000 before taxes and subsidies and will begin selling in Q3 of 2013.

    Bakit big deal ba ang LTE sa Pinas? eh tingnan ninyong wala naman talagang kakwenta kwenta dahil sa mga punyetang capping na yan

    HSPA+, LTE, LTE advanced, 6G, 7G..whatever…doesn’t make any difference

    It’s a bit shame that the screen resolution is pretty low for that particular screen size and the small RAM could pretty much limit the phone’s capability to run intensive apps on the Windows Store such as the “Fresh Paint” app. Other than that, it’s a decent mid-range WP8 smartphone.
