Owners of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) for the Philippines may now rejoice as the Android 7.0 Nougat update is now available.
The update just came a few weeks after Samsung seeded Nougat for the Galaxy A7 (2017). For the Galaxy A5 (2017) SM-A520F, the update carries the version number PDA A520FXXU2BQI9 and CSC A520FOLB2BQI9 with an August 1, 2017 Security Patch Level.
To check for the update, go to Settings –> Software Update.

Does the Nougat update for A5 2017 come with Samsung Experience 8.1 or higher?
Any News as to when it will be released fpr J7 prime? or us j7 prime will ever get the update? langyang samsung yan, OREO na pero MM padin kame. lol
Don’t hold your breath for it, C9 Pro was released after J7 Prime and it still doesn’t have Nougat update either.
