Asus Philippines has just launched the Zenfone flagship in Cebu during Sinulog Festival, the Asus Zenfone Zoom.
The Asus Zenfone Zoom is a pocket-camera smartphone capable of 3x optical zoom, as the name suggests. It also has optical image stabilization and laser autofocus working together to give a clearest and sharpest image it can do. It’s powered by a slightly newer and faster Intel Atom Z3590 quad-core chip with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz per core.

The Asus Zenfone Zoom will retail for Php26,995 with a whopping 128GB of internal storage, just as predicted. It is expected to hit the stores by next week.
Zenfone 2 4gb+64gb costs almost half that 8 months ago. The price for the camera alone cannot be 13k. It has last year specs, except for the 4gb ram and 128gb storage..

Price is too high for an ASUS branded phone.
and the release came 1 year AFTER it was announced.
For a supposedly good camera phone with zoom, this one should have included 4K video.

Asus might be dreaming so deep they can’t wake up. Lols. Premium build ba to, like metal finish? NFC? Fingerprint sensor? 5000mAh batt? Thin bezel + screen to body ratio? I’m not complaining about the specs, I’m complaining about the price incompetence vs. other phones + their line ups.
