Qualcomm is once again on its way to revealing new chipsets for this year. The Snapdragon 660 has already been confirmed to make its official announcement, but it looks like there are two more mid-range chips that will make an appearance soon.
If reports prove true, Snapdragon 630 and 635 chipsets are also expected to launch during the company’s May 9 event. There are very little details known for the 630 and 635, but the Snapdragon 660 will replace the 652 and will come with better performance and efficiency. It will also feature an octa-core processor complete with the same Kryo 280 cores that are present on Snapdragon 835. The new 660, however, will be built on the 14nm process.
We will know all the details for the three upcoming chipsets so stay tuned as we wait for the official announcement.
