Google Drive to add a new search feature

Google is creating to add a new feature in Google Drive for their search bar.

Google Drive now has a feature that in their search bar. This allows you to find your files through a filter by type, person involved, and date modified.

When you initially type what you are looking for in the search bar, you would be able to filter out the file that you are looking for. This can be done without needing to select the filter choices below the search bar, making it faster for users to look for their file by typing.

For example, if you type “doc”, you’ll see a suggested “Document” file type chip as seen below.

The update will officially roll out to Google’s users on October 22.
