Hybrid cars have been slowly being rolled out in the Philippines, and one of the pioneers in bringing that technology into the country is Toyota. We got our chance to play around with their newest addition to their hybrid line of cars, the 2021 Toyota Camry Hybrid which has a bolder design, a 4-cylinder engine, new safety features, and of course, hybrid technology. Toyota Motor Philippines has announced a new Hybrid Electric Vehicle or HEV in the country, the Toyota RAV4 HEV. “The rapid succession of Toyota’s HEV model introductions in the country is an indicator that Hybrid cars are now mainstream. On top of the self-charging Hybrid technology in the New RAV4 HEV, it has also advanced safety features, and follows the Toyota New Global Architecture development. Full features will be revealed soon by Toyota and the SRP for the new RAV4 HEV is PHP 2,157,000. For reservations, interested customers may inquire at the nearest Toyota dealership beginning January 17, 2022.
