Dell Streak 5 goes on sale at Villman for Php13,190

Could not believe it until I saw it — Villman is putting the Dell Streak 5 on fire sale — it’s now down to just Php13,190, almost half of the original retail price from earlier this year {Updated, see below.}.

Here’s the screenshot from their website:

Current street price is Php15,190 with zero percent (0%) on 12-month credit card payments or Php13,190 for straight cash payments. Not bad for a mini-tablet and a phone!

You can read our full review of the Dell Streak 5 here.

Update: Villman just removed the Php13,190 cash price, right after I posted this entry. Most probable reason is the One Price Tag Law that’s being implemented by the DTI.

I think you can still get it at Php13,190 (they just can’t say it publicly) — just ask them for the cash price when you get to the store.

  1. I knew it na DOA ito. No buyer kaya binaba ang price.

  2. Maybe because of samsung galaxy 5 wifi. Saw at the mall baba na rin ng price11k.

    • Hello.

If you don’t mind, I would like to know what particular mall are you pertaining to.

      THANKS AND GOD BLESS!

  3. MSI-ECS had a sale last week and it was being sold for 17K. now, I feel sorry for those who purchased it from there.

  4. Wow i can’t choose on the two Dell or Cherry Mobile. T__T

  5. The Streak went for P20T at the MSI-ECS. But if you bought other Dell items (like I did when I got a Sandy Bridge Dell Vostro for P26T), it entitled you to an P8T discount to the Dell Streak—effectively pricing it at P12T.

  6. Nice! I’d surely want one of those if it were on this price! I wonder how long the sale would be so that I can prepare the cash. :D

  7. Hmmm Now after the 10K price range owned by Sony and LG. DELL Looks like it made Samsung Ace obsolete as well.

Samsung better release new Phones soon to remain competitive :D

    Competition FTW!!!!!!!!!

  8. can this gadget call & text with a sim? hehehe..

    • Yes, it’s basically an Android Smarpthone.

  9. I just checked the Villman site and its back to 15k++… What happened?

  10. San 11k ang Samsung Galaxy S 5?

    -Sent via YugaTech Mobile App

  11. expect samsung galaxy tab classic to drop to 12k. Now I wonder what happens to Cherry mobile superion? d?rop to 9k?

  12. Probably has something to do with the fact that the Galaxy Wifi 5 has potentially more to offer for less loot.

  13. shuckks…got many heartache with this Dell Streak…i bought my unit for 25k last May 2011..then after two months, news came that its already EOL in the US..then it was stolen last month…now its only 13k..

  14. Hey… what’s up with that “One Price Tag Law” by DTI???… Please elaborate, Abe!

    • Basically it means that the price of the product should be the same regardless if you pay cash or with a credit/debit card.

    • Only in the stupid country… pay more when using a credit card.

  15. Enjoying my dell streak… guyz limited stock na lang. Thanks……. sir yuga for the info :-)

  16. The 15k for 12 months does not make it 0% interest.

  17. does this mean its in all villman stores?
@jerick carlos, where you bought yours? (sana makaabot)

  18. Dear Sir Yuga,

Your feeds have been getting a “This message may not have been sent by: abeolan****@****.***” error lately. You may want to check why Gmail is not authenticating your posts properly.

Thanks for your blog and regards!

  19. defective ata kc ang dell kaya mababa na… saka released ito last year pa kaya dapat lang bumaaba. dami ko nabasa negative. search nyo guys…

  20. thank you yuga for the heads-up..i just bought mine in glorieta makati..hope to hear more from you guy about up and coming gadget sale!!

thank you very much and more power!!

  21. thank you yuga for the heads-up..i just bought mine in glorieta makati..hope to hear more from you guys about up and coming gadget sale!!

thank you very much and more power!!

  22. If anyone is still looking, it’s also available at Memoexpress. Displayed price is 15.1K, but you get 1.5K off if you buy in cash. Credit card buyers can get it at 14.8K (12 months to pay).

I bought one yesterday at SM North Edsa, and so far so good. It’s not the best smartphone/tablet out there but at 13 or 14K it’s awesome!. :)

    • i know right?! got mine at memoxpress @ mega. it is also sold @ accentmicro i believe.

    • may i know what os po ung unit na nabili nyo po?

    • i think standard yung 2.2.2 Froyo. and i guess di na magrerelease ng new update ang dell dahil EOL na ito.

    • sir do you have the contact number of memoexpress?

  23. samsung galaxy note 5 is just around the corner

  24. Just got my Dell Streak at Memoxpress Cebu for 13,690.

  25. i would buy this if it will have an official gingerbread and ice cream sandwhich

  26. My brother and I try buying one but alas no more stocks!=( do you know where we can still find one, out of stock in Megamall, all villman branches, accent micro branches and dell branches as well..No more in Alabang, gateway mall and trinoma..

    • I suggest you try what I am “still” doing right now.. Search for a previous buyer of the 13k streak, convince them to buy an iPhone(its quite very easy), and buy his/her streak!

  27. If anyone is interested, I have a 3-month old barely used Dell Streak 5 complete with box and receipt for sale or trade with a lighter phone. Unfortunately the unit is un-pocketable and too heavy for me for my taste. Price: P13,500 (with original Dell leather wallet case valued at $40). 091780***** / 091583***** / taconsola****@****.***

  28. san po ba makakabili ng lcd ng dell streak 5.magkano kaya un 090541*****

  29. hi any available LCD for dell streak 5 ..if there’s any, for how much? thanks
