Lenovo to launch P770 smartphone w/ 3500mAh battery

Lenovo is reportedly planning to launch the P770 Android smartphone that sports a 4.5-inch display and a massive 3500mAh battery.

The Lenovo P770 will have a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540) display powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6577 1.2Ghz CPU and 1GB of RAM. It will also come equipped with an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing, and will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Although specs point to an entry-level to mid-range device, it’s battery however is far from mediocre. The P770 will be sporting a massive 3500mAh battery – 200mAh bigger than the one powering the Motorola RAZR Maxx. If that is not enough, there are rumors of a 4160mAh battery being made. If this is true then we’re looking at a battery that could last two days of heavy use on a single charge.

  1. The battery capacity is truly the selling point of the Lenovo Mobile – I think.

    • it’s an android home button, look closely

    • It’s a lotus icon. I have my lenovo p700 and it’s just looks like windows icon in the picture but totally not. :D

  2. Don’t trust a Chinese company they’re most likely rubbish.

    • Ignorance is bliss, pareng kebin… Wawa naman you.

  3. @ Kevin, sir hinde nyo po ata alam na si lenovo is the second largest manufacturer next to HP and they acquired IBM personal computing business.. So rubbish ??… Products made from china are according to sellers budget.. pag sinabi mo sa china gusto ko ng PHP100k na worth ng isang cellphone kaya nila gumawa ng ganong quality, ngayon dahil marami nag titipid sa pinas sabi ni CD-R Hari Gawan mo ako ng 250 pesos lang na cellphone para mabetna ko ng 399 pesos, marami sa china makakagawa nyan. sa tingin mo si APPLE hinde sa china nagpapagawa ?

  4. i love what Lenovo did with the P700!
ang di ko lang masyado natipuhan doon eh mabigat.
sana magaan-gaan ito ng kaunti kaysa sa P700 :D

    • Syempre mabigat yan malaki battery eh.. Ung p700 magaan naman pag walang battery hehe battery talaga nag papabigat pero sulit naman kasi matagal ma lowbat

  5. Sana 10,999 pa rin at 1 gig ram at sana lenovo lagyan mo na ng FLASH, potek!

  6. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE indeed! muntik na kong mapabili ng P700i , aantayin ko na lang to!
