While we’re expecting the Philippine release of the Galaxy S6 by 2nd week of April, we also got confirmation from local Samsung representatives that the PH version of the Galaxy S6 will be in dual-SIM.
Samsung PH specifically asked HQ to create a dual-SIM version for the Philippines. Both SIM cards will be nano-SIM although only one of the two SIM slots will be able to support LTE (international version of the Galaxy S6 is single-SIM).
On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 Edge will only come in single SIM. The first models to be released is the black and white color variants in 32 and 64GB while the 128GB will come later.
Samsung Galaxy S6 specs:

@Carl Lamiel, tol palagay mo kaya mas mahal pa sa iphone6 to? And also do you think smart or globe will offer this (s6edge or s6) same thing what they did with IPHONE and Note4?
yung galaxy s5 cheaper sya ng around 4k sa iPhone 5s 16gb last year so tingin ko same pa rin. I think mas mahal yung s6 edge by around 5k sa s6 regular
So does this mean Globe/Smart will only offer S6 Edge in their plans? Because a dual sim S6 does not make any sense if both SIMs are network locked.
In the case of dual-SIM handsets offered by telcos, only SIM1 is locked to the respective postpaid carrier. Seen that with Sun’s dual-SIM postpaid devices, so there’s a huge chance that other telcos would do that too.
