Sometime last month, the folks from Multiply gave me access to the YugaTech account that was earlier registered by someone else and used as a gadget store. I thought it was also time for me to set up a store there for my used gadgets.
A few weeks ago, they’ve also asked me to hold a give-away to my readers where we will give away Php5,000 worth of shopping money on Multiply.
But before we do that, I had to check out and try the Marketplace myself. So, I scouted for a number of gadget stores on Multiply and looked for a gadget I still don’t have. The target — the Sony PS Vita. The price — Php12,500.
All this time, I was wondering how the Multiply Shopping Cart works when most of the sellers I see there are posting items in the form of a photo gallery.
After checking out the cheapest price for the PS Vita, I contacted the seller so I can order it via the shopping cart and use the discount voucher that Multiply gave to me. Widget City was selling it for Php12,500 (WiFi-only, US version).
The whole process was quite easy and fast — I was done in under 30 seconds and paid immediately via Paypal. Anyway, I’m hoping to get that PS Vita tomorrow and be able to write a review later.

1) Check out the Multiply Marketplace and look for any item (gadgets I guess) that’s worth around Php5,000. The item needs to be part of the shopping cart and not just a photo gallery entry.
2) Copy and paste the link of your desired item in the comments and tell us why you badly want it. That’s it!
Multiply will help choose the lucky winner who will win the Php5,000 shopping credits. Contest starts now and ends March 25 31. If you chose an item over Php5,000, you’ll need to fork out the difference and have to spend the voucher by March 31.

I’m not planning to buy any hi-tech stuff for myself but I need extra funds so I could soon send a very simple “gadget” that would definitely put a smile on my father’s face. I want to get him a 24-inch LCD TV.
After he had a mild stroke, my father had to retire from his work and become a home buddy although he didn’t want to be one – not just yet. Apart from cooking and fixing home fixtures, his favorite things to do these days include watching PBA games, watching the news, and watching (and cursing over) the impeachment trial of the Chief Justice.
Unfortunately, his beloved 15-year-old Sanyo Tube TV ‘died’ last week. He lamented over it like he lost a son. He got so disappointed and depressed. Right now, he tries to find things that could eat up his free time like walking round and round the neighborhood. I really badly want to buy him a new TV by the end of this month and I think this 24-inch LCD is just perfect for him (he doesn’t want to watch on the bigger ones because he says it hurts his eyes).
Maybe you Sir Yuga and Multiply could “chip in” for it and cover half the cost please. :)

I have really wanted to own an Android tablet ever since, for my studies. Working with tablet means that I won’t be always bringing a laptop for creating and showing presentations, bringing books since they’ll be on eBook format. And also, since it’s running on ICS, I can finally experience the life of ICS (which I can’t on my current phone, since there’s no sign of it being ported.)

Multiply has been a part of my high school life – being able to write blogs and post vanity photos of me and my friends. I really wanted to have my own digital camera that i can take every single day, anywhere! my friends have their own cameras so almost all my pictures are just copied and saved to my usb. I really want a camera so badly, to the fact that i don’t have a camera (my phone nokia C200 has a cam but not as clear as a digital camera shots!) Hi Sir Yuga! Sana this time manalo ako. I want this digicam. Been missing lots of moments in our lives (me, my hubby and our son) because my old Sony digicam has retired 3 years ago.
