Maya hailed as PH’s ‘Best Digital Bank’ globally

After rebranding, Maya has emerged as the “Best Digital Bank” in the Philippines in little over a year. In 2023, they also attained three million deposits.


According to data released by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in September 2023, Maya has 57% of all digital bank depositors. Maya is well-known throughout the world for combining banking and payments into a single digital experience.

Maya is the only digital bank from the Philippines to be listed on Forbes’ list of the World’s Best Banks. In the World Digital Bank Awards 2023, Maya was also recognized as the Best Digital Bank in Southeast Asia and placed in the top 10 globally.

It has also been accepted for its creative payment solutions on several other national and international venues, including the PAY360 Awards.
