Huawei smartphones are fastest at mobile internet

According to data gathered by the BASS app (we featured it here last month), Huawei smartphones registered the fastest mobile internet speeds among all devices running the BASS app.

Based on the chart provided by the BASS team, the device MHA-AL000 (Huawei Mate9) registered the highest average speed among all devices used in measuring mobile internet in the Philippines. Other Huawei devices like the P10, P10 Plus and the Nexus 6P also showed strong results.

Huawei is the world’s largest telecoms equipment manufacturer and in the Philippines, they run almost 100% of Globe’s network and around 50% of Smart’s network. Huawei’s expertise in engineering cellular radio towers helps them optimize their smartphones to maximize its mobile internet speeds.

The results are not really that surprising but it could also convince consumers to pick a Huawei smartphone if they want the best device for mobile internet.

  1. I can attest to this because my mate9 consumes my data allocation at an alarming speed.hahaha

  2. napaka annoying yung ads nyo sa barcelona. so ucking invasive.need pa naka landscape para ma close.

  3. huawei can do what they like on their equipment and sell them to telcos. you may be right about that, huawei equipment giving top priorities to huawei mobiles, hence, more speed. if they could also somehow tweak data consumption for less for huawei mobiles, then i’ll buy a huawei phone. hehehe…

  4. It’s good that Huawei tops the fastest mobile internet speed and its not surprising since Huawei Technologies has a dedicated R&D for network development specially wireless communications, they are also one of the most reputable wireless base station manufacturer which are being used by telcos around the world, they are also one of the pioneers in VDSL/VDSL2+. Most telcos in the world uses Huawei Technologies for their core wireless network and fixed-broadband network (OLT for xPON, DSLAM for xDSL). So Huawei is dedicated in making these networking products but controversies it encounters might affect its reputable stand.
