Land Bank of the Philippines (Landbank) has recently launched the Digital Onboarding System (DOBS) Mobile that allows people to open a savings account completely via mobile app.
With DOBS Mobile on Landbank Mobile Banking App (MBA), customers may now open ATM savings accounts for 10 to 15 minutes without the need to go to the bank.
According to Landbank, digital bank accounts opened using DOBS Mobile have various features, such as fund transfers, deposit funds, and bill payment through Landbank MBA and the Landbank iAccess, as well as cardless withdrawal through Landbank ATMs.
Customers without existing Landbank savings account may also apply with the following eligibility requirements:
• At least 18 years old
• Must be a Filipino resident
• FATCA is required as applicable
• Must have a locally (PH) issued mobile number
• With credible identification
To open a savings account, interested customers need to fill out application forms online and upload a valid identification card through the bank’s mobile banking app. Check out the list of valid IDs below.

• OFW ID
• OWWA ID
• Driver’s License
• SSS
• UMID
• Voter’s / COMELEC ID
• Senior Citizen ID
• Company ID
• Postal ID
• GSIS
• School ID
• PRC ID
Additionally, clients may also upgrade the digital bank account to a regular Landbank Visa Debit Card by visiting their branch of account and requesting a physical card.
