Opera tests newer built-in VPN feature in Android browser app

Opera has announced that they have begun testing their new built-in virtual private network (VPN) feature in their Opera browser for Android. Currently, it is available to beta users worldwide.

Once the feature is enabled in the settings of the browser, the user’s IP address will be replaced with a virtual IP address. The built-in browser VPN is a no-log service, which means that Opera will not collect any information nor data from users. It is also free and unlimited.

Opera stated that the testing for the built-in VPN will continue for a while and will be rolled out eventually with no specific date yet.
